Sponsor: The Indie Book Fair
Giveaway Period: The giveaway begins Tuesday, August 11, 2026 and ends Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. Entries received after the Giveaway Period ends will not be eligible.
Limit: One entry per person. Entries must be submitted through the designated Instagram giveaway post during the Giveaway Period.
Winner Selection & Notification: One winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. Selection will be made using a random comment picker. The winner will be contacted by direct message from @theindiebookfair on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The selected winner must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim the prize. If the selected winner does not respond within 72 hours or is determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
Prize Fulfillment & Personal Information: The winner may be required to provide contact and delivery information reasonably necessary to fulfill the prize. This information will be used solely for prize fulfillment and will not be added to any mailing list without the winner’s separate consent.
Eligibility: This giveaway is open to individuals age 18 or older. Employees and members of The Indie Book Fair team, as well as their immediate family members and members of their households, are not eligible to enter or win. Limit one entry per person. Authors and merchants participating in The Indie Book Fair are eligible to enter. The selected winner’s eligibility will be verified before they’re confirmed as the winner.
Disqualification: The Indie Book Fair reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules, including entries submitted through fraudulent, automated, or deceptive means. Duplicate entries from the same person will not be eligible. Any attempt to interfere with the fair operation of the giveaway may result in disqualification.
Prize: ONE WINNER will receive a mystery Indie Book Fair book boxe based on their selected age level: Adult, YA, MG, or Picture Book. A U.S. winner will receive a physical prize. An international winner will receive an ebook and a Catalog Club membership for 1 month, including the printed catalog and other goodies.
Prize Substitution: If any portion of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond The Indie Book Fair’s control, The Indie Book Fair reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Taxes: Any federal, state, or local taxes or other costs associated with accepting or using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Release of Liability: By entering this giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Indie Book Fair and Magical Page Publishing, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, and representatives, from claims, demands, or liability arising out of or relating to participation in the giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
